Urea eshte nje nga substancat higroskopike qe mund te gjendet e tretur ne shtresen korneale ne sasine 1% ne lekuren normale. Semundjet si dermatitis atopic ose lekurat e thata- te dehidratuara karakterizohen nga mungesa e Urese e cila pervec aftesive hidratuese eshte edhe keratolitike dhe antipruritike duke zene nje vend te rendesishem ne trajtimet dermatologjike.Redukton perdorimin e kortizonit 30-40%.

Urea 10%  Krem emulsion hidratues me elemente hygroskopike,hidratante, keratorregullatore dhe zbutes i rekomanduar per te rriturit dhe femijet mbi 3 vjec..
